The Williams!!!

This morning I went downstairs to visit my Paw-Paw and Granny! For those of you who do not know, we live upstairs in my grandparents house! We drank a couple cups of coffee and chatted about a little bit of everything! We started talking about the weather! How it has changed from when she was a little girl! Around Christmas time when she was growing up there was always a big blanket of snow covering the ground! I told her I wanted it to snow soooo...bad! She told me that the sign of snow was Cardinals! Of course, I thought she was telling a tale!! She told me that Cardinals really come out when it is going to snow! So, we changed the subject and kept on talking. My grandparents have their own little house downstairs. They have a living room, bathroom, bedroom and a kitchen. They turned the garage into their own little place. They replaced the door from the garage with a huge glass sliding door and that happens to be in the kitchen. As we were talking in the kitchen, I was looking outside!! Guess what I saw... 4 Cardinals in her dogwood tree.... We both got quite, as if they could hear us from inside..why do we do that?! Anywho, we watched for a few minutes!! My granny then told me the snow is soon to come!! I laughed...
I get to work and do a little research... Cardinals love cold weather and snow.. Maybe my granny is right!!! I hope so!!!!

The fun times of having animals on Christmas.....

Dear Santa, I'm fine and how have you been?
I feel it's about time to write you again.
Our town has become a bright Christmas scene,
With everything sparkling of crisp red and green.

Now that I'm older I've found out some stuff.
I'd like some new things but I may have enough.
They tell me that some kids don't have many toys
And there's not enough food for some girls and boys.

I remember the wonderful things you've brought here,
I hope you'll do that for some others this year.
Just look up the past, as you make out your list,
Then please put on top the ones that were missed.

I've talked to my friends and we've pledged that this year

First and foremost, we want to thank Pastor Rick and Sheri and the Gateway Life family!! Not for anything specific..just to say thanks! We are so excited to be a part of the family that is continuing to grow at Gateway Life! WOW! At the Starting Point classes we are just being pushed to step out of our comfort zone and serve God! Every person in the class comes from a different background of church and everyone is on their own personal level with God! To be able to meet and be surrounded by these people is just amazing! The people that surround us are some of the most real, most encouraging people! And by encouraging I do not mean that they pat you on the back and tell you everything is going to be okay! I have learned that encouragement can be very constructive and not always what you want to hear! Truth is you need it and it will help! Taking the step out of the comfort zone is not going to be easy...you just have to have faith! I'm not even going to get started on Faith!! All I can say is that the family at Gateway Life is in no way lacking faith, a bit radical I think!! But, it is completely amazing and inspiring! God gives you what you ask for, you just have to be ready to take it! If your not attending church, you have no idea what your missing! God is ready to bless you.... Come on!!!!

Halloween is right around the corner! Does anyone remember how fun halloween used to be? It used to be safe and tons of fun! Now people dress up in the craziest stuff and people act crazy too! What has happened? My mama would never let me out of the house in some of the costumes they are selling now! Camden is excited about halloween though! This is the first year that he is really into it! I guess I will have to make a few stops to the aunts and uncles, and the grandparents house! I am just scared for him though! People dressed up in scary costumes still kinda scares me! LOL!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

So living here in Tennessee gives you access to lots of wildlife and farm animals, right?? Well, Chris is wanting a baby pig!!! Yep, you heard it right, a baby pig!! That would be fine with me if we had a place for it! Chris informed me that he would like to have a baby pig in the house....NO,NO,NO! What to you guys think? Have I married a crazy man? LOL! We both have the dream of living on lots of land and having a cute little farm...but there is absolutely no way we will ever have a pig in the house! Anywho, I found some of the cutest farm animal pics! I hope you enjoy! And please tell my husband how completely crazy he his!

This past Saturday we had a party for Camden's birthday!! He told me earlier in the week that he wanted a big monster truck cake, lots of new toys and popcorn!! I think we had it all! Lots of family and friends showed up to have a good time!! Camden got more and more excited everytime someone would show up!! He had a big time in the bounce house that we rented! I didn't know there was a certain order that you did things... I decided to let him open presents first!! He wanted nothing to do with the cake and blowing out his candle after he opened his toys!! All he wanted to do was play! He got so many things!! He got a tool box and some tools to go in it, a complete cowboy set(hat, outfit and guns!), he also got lots of new movies and books, a punching bag, remote controlled truck, a light up sword and gun and a tractor!!! He is rotten!! The day was filled with fun and love! Camden ended it with a big "Everyone, thank you!".

Happy Birthday!! I know we have only known you a couple of months now, but you are like family! Thank you for everything you have done for my family! I am so thankful and blessed to have met you and your family! You guys are amazing! I hope your birthday is everything you want plus more!!!

Wow!! Time goes so fast! We will be married for one year on November 3rd! I decided to do something special for our anniversary! We didn't get to take a honeymoon! We had originally wanted to go to Colorado for the honeymoon. Sooo...it just so happens that Chris' favorite football team is the Denver Broncos! And it also just so happens that they are playing a home game on November 2nd! I decided that spending a weekend in Denver would be perfect for the anniversary! I bought the tickets and Chris couldn't be more excited!

We can't wait...


This will be our first trip together!!! YAY!!!

Although my hubby and I live in the sticks, we did not take the pictures on our blog of the wild animals! Unless Camden counts as a wild animal!? LOL..just kidding! Most of our pictures are from emails! We love animals! If we don't have a specific pic for our post, it will more than likely be an animal! We also wanna thank everyone for the comments! He is growing like crazy! His birthday is October the 4th! Birthday time!! I love throwing parties! I asked him what he wanted for his birthday, and he said,"umm..toys and umm..a big cake and umm..lots of big stuff!!!" He is such a big boy! So, while I'm getting into party mode, Chris is getting into "Stop spending money" mode! Women and men never see eye to eye on money do they?? Owell, you only have a 3rd birthday once! LOL!

Hidy!!! So, we couldn't figure out how to fix our messed up blog, so we created a new one! We have lots of pictures and fun things to share! We are new to the blogging thing, hang in there with us! Thanks!

Well, Chris and I are just movin on up in this world! We are getting more involved with our church now! Chris is going to be an usher...yeah...taking on some responsibility!! And I will continue to greet! I hope we can pass our excitement to others looking for a church! Man, we are just overwhelmed with joy right now! This is so awesome!

Life just keeps getting better! Last November, Chris (aka Tweeter) and I said " I DO"!! From that day, our life has been filled with a lot of ups and downs. I'm glad to announce that our marriage is stronger than ever, our family is better than ever and God has awesome plans for us! We started going to a new church a couple of months ago! Gateway Life has changed our lives! The people in this church are just amazing! There is a realness about everyone there. No fake, stuck up, judging people. Real people, real problems and living real life! They all have one thing that I didn't, and that is God, the word of God and the most radical faith ever. I wanted it and received it! God has a plans for everyone!! Get in with God, with the word and watch what happens in your life! Come visit Gateway Life!
